Sunday Supper on the Farm with Proof’s Chef Michael Paley

Louisville’s Chef Michael Paley of Proof on Main at Louisville’s 21c Museum and Hotel will participate in the James Beard Celebrity Chef Series on October 7 here as part of the World Equestrian Games.

But fans can sample his farm-to-table culinary approach inspired by Italy and the American South on the actual farm this Sunday, August 29, 2010 when Proof presents a Summer Supper at Woodland Farm in Goshen, Kentucky. He will collaborate with Louisville Chef Nancy Schoenhoff on a dinner featuring local ingredients.

Proof’s rooftop garden relocated to Woodland Farm, which is owned (along with 21c) by Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson.

Participating farmers include Maggie Barrett of Foxhollow Farm (a sustainable, organic, biodynamic farming community);  Mark Barrow, Kentucky Gold Produce ; Katie Schad, Capriole Goat Cheese; and Stephanie Tittle, Woodland Farm.

The dinner is $89/person, and a portion of proceeds benefits Slow Food Bluegrass.
