This is Chef Tom’s Bourbon Christmas ham (but it is ok to make it for Easter also).

Alfalfa on Main Street will be open on Easter Sunday, 9 am to 2 pm, and serving Easter brunch specials that include Country Ham Sliders with a Blackberry Compote; Stone Cross Sausage Gravy over House Made Biscuits; shrimp and Weisenberger Cheese Grits; Banana Granola Griddle Cakes; House Cured Scottish Atlantic Salmon Lox On a Local Bagel by Great Bagel with Herb Cream Cheese, Red Onion, Capers and Local Watercress; Farmers Market Omelet with Local Mushrooms, Kale, Local Cloverdale Creamery’s Cowbells in Clover Cheese.

Bayou Bluegrass Catering will serve an Easter buffet 11 am to 4 pm at the Red Mile. Call 859.233.0814.

Jonathan at Gratz Park will have two seatings and a three-course prix fixe menu on Easter Sunday.

Natasha’s on Esplanade will host an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet on Easter Sunday, beginning at 10 am. The menu includes Kentucky Bourbon & Brown Sugar Glazed Pit Ham; Apple Apricot & Herb Stuffed Pork Loin; Citrus Glazed Grilled Salmon; Maple Thick Cut Bacon & Sausage Links; Baked Eggs & Cheese; Butter and Parsley New Potatoes; Scalloped Potatoes with Leeks; Southern Style Green Beans;  Grit Casserole with Mushrooms, Proscuitto and Provolone; Roasted Asparagus with Lemony Panko Breadcrumbs; Sauteed Garlic Broccoli; Squash and Wild Mushroom Casserole; Carrot Raisin Salad; Fresh Fruit Salad; Mustard Potato Salad; Three Bean Salad with Dijon Vinaigrette; Red Wine Vinaigrette Cole Slaw; Fresh Tomato Mozzarella and Basil Salad;  Artichoke Antipasta Salad; Raspberry and Toasted Coconut Custard; Strawberry Custard Filled Cream Puffs.
