Kentucky Kid Sets Jeopardy Record

Skyler Hornback, a 12-year-old 7th grader from Sonora, Kentucky won $66,600 on today’s episode of JEOPARDY!, setting records for the highest one-day total in Kids Week history and the third-highest one-day total in JEOPARDY! history.

Hornback hopes to use his $66,600.00 to help fund his college education.

The final Jeopardy category was The Civil War, and he made a $30,000 wager (a fairly safe bet since he told host Alex Trebek he can recite the Gettysburg Address from memory).
