Veterans Day, November 11, 2015 is a federal holiday.

Post offices will be closed on Veterans Day, but express mail delivery will continue. No regular mail delivery on Veterans Day.

UPS and FedEx will deliver on Veterans Day 2015.

All Lexington Public Libraries will be open on Veterans Day 2015.

District and Circuit Courts will be closed on Veterans Day 2015.

University of Kentucky campus is open on Veterans Day 2015; classes are on regular schedule.

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government offices will be open, but the Driver’s License Office will be closed. Fayette County Clerk, state, and federal offices will be closed.

Lexington trash collection will proceed as scheduled on Veterans Day.

LexTran will be on a regular schedule on Veterans Day.

The Kentucky Utilities (KU) office is open on Veterans Day.

Most banks (but not all banks) will be closed; check with your local branch.
