Wednesday, November 11 is Veterans Day. Here is a list of what’s open and what’s closed for the holiday:veteransday_aceweekly_2014

Post offices will be closed and only express mail will run.

All Lexington Public Libraries will be open.

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government offices will be open, but the Driver’s License Office will be closed.

Trash collection on Veterans Day will proceed as normal.

LexTran will be on a regular schedule on Veterans Day.

Many banks will be closed, but not all, so call ahead, or check the social media feed for your branch.

Grocery stores will be open.
