When and Where are Lexington’s Easter Egg Hunts for 2019

Lenten season is underway, which means Easter is fast approaching. Are there any Easter egg hunts for the kids in Lexington?

Easter Egg Hunts

Eckert’s Orchard in Versailles hosts Easter Egg-Citement week from April 13 until April 20. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance, egg hunts, face painting, seed planting, and more at the orchard.

The Lexington Public Library has Easter activities planned at a couple of  branches. On April 3 at 2 pm the Eastside Branch is having an Egg Drop Challenge where kids will create a contraption to protect an egg. On April 12 & 13 at 2 pm the Central Library is having a DIY Easter Tote Bag. Create and decorate your own canvas bag for egg hunts. On April 20 at 11 am the Northside Branch is having a Family Egg Hunt and Bunny Party. On April 26 at 2 pm the Central Library is having an Egg Drop Challenge. (all Library locations will be closed on Easter Sunday)

APRIL 12

Southern Hills United Methodist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 12 at 6 pm. There will be dinner, activities, and the egg hunt.

APRIL 13

Crossroads Lexington is having their KY First Responders Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 at 1 pm.

Gethsemane Lutheran Church is having a community Easter egg hunt at 10 am on April 13.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is having an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13. Then on Easter Sunday, enjoy another egg hunt at 10 am.

Easter Treasure Hunt at NorthEast Christian Church for ages newborn to 3rd graders. The hunt starts at 10 am on April 13.

Southern Barker is having an all day Easter Egg Sale Hunt in their store on Saturday, April 13.

On Saturday, April 13 the Tates Creek Christian Church will have an egg hunt starting at 11 am.

APRIL 14

Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church is hosting an egg hunt and brunch for Palm Sunday on April 14 at 11:30 am. Brunch and egg hunt will follow the services.

After Palm Sunday service on April 14, there will be an egg hunt at Second Presbyterian Church at noon.

APRIL 19

Crestwood Christian Church is having a Childcare Easter egg hunt on Friday, April 19.

There is a glow in the dark egg hunt at Harmony Christian Church (Georgetown) on Friday, April 19 at 6:30 pm. There will also be inflatables, glow in the dark face painting, and Easter craft.

APRIL 20

Community Easter Egg Hunt at American Legion Post 24 – Georgetown on Saturday, April 20 at 11 am.

An Easter Egg Hunt at American Legion Post 67 – Versailles is Saturday, April 20 at 11 am. Over 13,000 eggs will be hidden. If rain, the event will be held in the Pavilion.

Join Antioch Baptist Church, Hope Springs Church, and Nathaniel Mission for an Easter Egg Hunt at Speigle Heights Park. Hunt is on Saturday, April 20 at 9 am. There will be age appropriate hunts happening every 30 minutes.

Easter Egg Hunts Every Hour 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2pm at Bluegrass Regional Marketplace on Saturday, April 20. Meet the Easter Bunny. Have brunch at Hayden’s Stockyard Eatery. Support March for Babies of Lexington.

Join Bluegrass United Church of Christ on Saturday, April 20 at noon for an Easter Egg Hunt and cookout.

Christ Church Cathedral is having an Easter Egg Hunt April 20 at 10 am.

Eastland Church of God on Liberty Rd is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20 beginning at 10 am. There will be inflatables, petting zoo, 10,000 eggs to hunt, and more.

On Saturday, April 20 at 4:45 pm Grace Christian (Georgetown) is having an Easter Eggsplosion. There will be over 20,000 eggs for a hunt for kids 5th grade and younger.

Before a Saturday Easter Service on April 20, Immanuel Baptist Church is having an egg hunt at 4 pm at their Tates Creek and Armstrong Mill location.

Man O’War Harley-Davidson is having their annual Easter celebration with festivities on Saturday, April 20. Their first ever Baby Crawl Contest is at 11 am, egg hunt at noon, and the bunny will be in the store.

Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun Easter Egg Hunt at NoBaked Cookie Dough on Saturday, April 20 at 2 pm.

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is having Easter Egg Hunts on April 20 beginning at 10 am. The hunt field will be divided by age groups for all hunt times. There are food vendors and the Shaker Village bar is open for the parents. Must bring your own basket.

TC Kids is hosting an Easter Eggsperience on Saturday, April 20 at 1 pm. There will be an egg hunt, games, and more for children of all abilities.

Victory Christian Church hosts a pancake breakfast and egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 9 am.

Wild Fig Books and Coffee is having an egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 11 am. There will be hotdogs, burgers, and veggie options.

APRIL 21

First Presbyterian Church is hosting an egg hunt on Easter Sunday at 10 am in the Chapel. Be sure to bring your own basket.

Egg Hunt, activities, snacks, and more for children 0 to 5th grade at Growth Point Church on Sunday, April 21 at 1 pm. Please bring your own basket for the hunt.

Lexington Calvary Church of the Nazarene is partnering with Cardinal Valley Park Board to do an Easter Egg hunt at Valley Park. They are going to hide more than 12,000 eggs on Easter Sunday at 2 pm.

Fayette Mall is hosting Easter Bunny Photo events throughout the beginning of April.

  • Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny on April 1, April 8, and April 15 from 6 pm until 9 pm.
  • Sensory Friendly Easter Bunny Photo event is Sunday, April 7 from 9 am until 11 am.
  • Big Blue Bunny Night is on Thursday, April 11 from 6 pm until 9 pm.

Joseph-Beth Booksellers will have the Easter Bunny and real bunnies on hand starting April 11 through April 20 for photos. Book your appointment today.

The Easter Bunny is at The Barn in The Summit at Fritz Farm starting on Friday, April 12 and going until Saturday, April 20. Times vary, so click here to check them out.

APRIL 6

Meet the Easter Bunny at Pivot Brewing on Saturday, April 6 at noon. Will be taking donations for Dress for Success Lexington.

APRIL 13

Southern Barker is throwing an Easter Pawty on Saturday, April 13 at 11 am. Bring your dog by to get a photo of them with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Bunny is at Tates Creek Christian Church for pictures on Saturday, April 13 at 11 am.

April 14

Food, fun, games, and Easter Bunny pictures at Kentucky Home Team on Sunday, April 14 from 1 pm until 3 pm.
