Who is taking Thanksgiving pre-orders? What restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving in Lexington, Ky for 2020? We have the answers for you.

Pre-order options for Thanksgiving menus in Lexington for 2020:

Alfalfa Restaurant offers holiday dinners including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Pre-order eggplant Parmesan, shepherd’s pie and jackfruit crabcakes by the half or full pan. Soups, sides, biscuits and desserts also available.

Bayou Bluegrass Catering is taking orders for Thanksgiving items. Pick them up hot and ready to serve or cold with heating instructions. Including pecan-smoked, Cajun-fried and traditional baked turkeys, as well as brown sugar glazed ham and smoked bbq beef brisket. Pans of sides, desserts available a la carte. Order online or call.

Bear & The Butcher offers meals and sides either hot and ready to eat, or for heating up at home. Order by November 22. Full dinner, serves 8-10, with smoked turkey breast with gravy, four sides and rolls. Items available a la carte.

Bella Notte has Heat & Serve Thanksgiving Dinner featuring dry brined turkey, stuffing, gravy, golden potato puree, green beans, cranberry mostardo, and walnut torte. Call to order; feeds six; limited quantities available.

Blue Door Smokehouse offers whole smoked turkeys, whole boneless turkeys, and smoked hams with gravy provided. Call place orders. Pick up Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 11 am to 3 pm.

Bob Evans will take care of your holiday meal planning this year with ready to heat and serve Farmhouse Feast to-go meals. Place orders by November 23 for pickup by November 25. Special Thanksgiving meals will be available to order online starting November 12.

Bourbon n’ Toulouse offers its best-selling turkey etouffee, made with Farmer Joe’s free-range turkeys smoked by Red State BBQ. Available November 23-25 or until sold out. Single orders come with a side of stuffing; a limited number of bulk orders available. Order online.

Carson’s Food & Drink has Thanksgiving Take Home Meals for pre-order through November 22. Select your items, heat and serve with heating instructions include. Turkey, ham, potatoes, mac & cheese, and more to choose from. Pick up on Wednesday, November 25; curbside take out only.

Cracker Barrel offers Thanksgiving Heat n’ Serve Holiday meals from oven to table in two hours, serving 8 to 10. The meal kit comes chilled and ready to heat and includes oven-roasted turkey breasts, turkey gravy, cornbread dressing, cranberry relish, choice of three country sides, and pie for dessert. Pick up between November 21 – November 29, while supplies last. 24-hour notice required for orders, payment required at time of order.

Critchfield Meats has a Thanksgiving menu that includes half and whole cooked turkeys, whole and half cooked boneless ham, and beef tenderloin. Side dishes available in different sizes. Order by phone. Their last day in the Zandale Shopping Center was 10/17, but orders will continue to be taken as they move into their new location on Southland Drive in early November.

Thanksgiving with Darae and Friends Catering includes four unique options: Thanksgiving bundle to feed 4, Family Feast to feed 10-12, hot & ready corporate lunch, and finishing touches. Call to order.

Dudley’s on Short offers a carryout Thanksgiving feast for 4-8 people, including roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, cornbread & sage stuffing, green beans, Brussels sprouts, Broadbent bacon & apple cider vinaigrette, smoked maple & bourbon glazed carrots, confit giblet gravy, cranberry relish, potato rolls and a choice of pumpkin cheesecake or chocolate chip & walnut pie. Order by November 20 online, pickup on November 25 from 3-6 pm.

Feast with Dupree Catering! The Feast option (serves 10-12) includes cider brined sliced turkey, pan gravy, herb roasted potatoes, cornbread & challah stuffing, green beans, sweet potato casserole, cranberry orange relish, yeast rolls and pumpkin cheesecake. A la carte dishes include sliced beef tenderloin, kale salad, classic broccoli casserole, and more. Family snacks include spiced pecans, Kentucky spreads, and vegetable crudité. Pecan pie or espresso cookies are also available. Orders must be placed by November 20 at 5 pm, pick-up and delivery on November 25 from 2-6 pm. Delivery is available for extra fee within Fayette County.

The Fresh Market offers Essential, Traditional, and Ultimate Holiday Meal menus. All meals include some, if not all, of the following: fully cooked turkey breast, Yukon gold whipped potatoes, [new & improved] traditional herb stuffing, green beans, home style turkey gravy, cranberry relish with walnuts, and more. Items like turkeys, sides, and desserts can be ordered individually. Order in-store or online, pick up between November 23-26.

Good Foods Co-op is not open on Thanksgiving this year, but offers pre-orders on classic dishes. Grab & Go items available, including traditional and vegan single-serve meals. Desserts, including vegan pies, are available. Order online or in store.

Hall’s On the River is offering family feasts including Secret Recipe Baked Turkey, Spiral Ham, Homemade Dressing, Corn Pudding, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Cranberry Relish, Country Gravy and choice of Pumpkin Pie or Cheesecake. Available for pre-orders and pickup starting Monday, November 23 through Thanksgiving Day at 5:30 pm.

Let J. Render’s Southern Table & Bar make your Thanksgiving Dinner a breeze with starters, smoked meats, sides and desserts available to order. Place order by Saturday, November 21 for pickup on Wednesday, November 25; reheating instructions included.

Keene Dining has a la carte items, sides (to serve 4-5 people), and appetizers available for order. Place orders by November 22. Pick up by 4 pm on November 25.

La Bonne Vie Personal Chef Services offers a pre-brined classic turkey or herb & butter classic turkey prep along with classic sides. Allergy safe versions of Thanksgiving meals are available.

Lockbox has you covered with take home Thanksgiving dinner kits available for pick up on Wednesday, November 25 (3-6 pm) & Thursday, November 26 (11-2 pm). Orders must be placed by 5 pm on November 24. A portion of proceeds from every take-home meal will benefit Glean Kentucky, an organization dedicated to reducing food waste and nourishing Kentucky’s hungry.

Minton’s 760 offers a Thanksgiving menu featuring a la carte appetizers, Thanksgiving Dinner and desserts. A vegan dinner can be made upon request. Call or place order online or by November 22, pick up will be scheduled for November 24 or November 25.

Proud Mary BBQ offers meats, fixins’ and desserts available for Thanksgiving. Order by November 19.

Ramsey’s offers a Thanksgiving dinner for six or more for $19.95 per person. Featuring sliced turkey breast with gravy, cornbread stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and four veggies. Choose from a variety of veggie sides, which are also available a la carte. Order by November 23, pick up November 25.

Ranada’s Kitchen has a Thanksgiving Feast featuring honey & pineapple baked ham and herb roasted or deep fried turkey along with a variety of classic holiday sides like mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, roasted brussels, buttermilk biscuits, and more. Available in different sizes to feed 2, 4-6, or 10-12. Add-ons available.

Steins by Addies offers a Thanksgiving Feast that comes with Roasted Turkey and Honey Ham, Cornbread Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Buttered Corn, Green Beans Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, and Apple Cobbler. Ted’s Montana Grill is making the prep work easy for those celebrating at home this year with a feast that includes roasted turkey, herb dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and more. Feeds 4-6 or 8-10. Orders should be placed by Friday, November 20 and picked up before 11 am on Thanksgiving Day.

Wallace Station Deli is taking orders for its annual takeout Thanksgiving dinner. The menu includes roast turkey breast, old-fashioned dressing, real whipped potatoes and scratch-made gravy, creamy spinach casserole, cranberry relish, Midway Bakery yeast rolls and Pumpkin or Sour Cream Apple pie. Reheating instructions included. Choose add-ons such as dressed eggs, a relish tray and pies and rolls from The Midway Bakery. Deadline for ordering is Sunday, November 22 4 pm. Wild Thyme can take care of all your Thanksgiving catering needs with herb roasted boneless sliced turkey breast or whole herb roasted turkey. Classic side dishes available like gravy, sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, and more. For dessert? A traditional pumpkin pie or chocolate pecan pie. Order online or call. On November 18, Governor Beshear announced new mandates to combat the spread of COVID-19. Beginning Friday, November 20 through Sunday, December 13, restaurants and bars will be closed for indoor dining services while outdoor dining, delivery, and carryout is still allowed.

What restaurants will be open in Lexington on Thanksgiving Day?

Azur is open on Thanksgiving with a special menu. Each person chooses one starter and one entree (either apple brined and smoked turkey or honey glazed ham), which comes with a scoop of several holiday sides, and a slice of pie. Reservations available for 10:30 am until 2 pm on Thursday, November 26.

Bluegrass Bistro at Marriott Griffin Gate Hotel is open for dinner, serving the regular menu. No reservations required.

Bob Evans is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every Thanksgiving. Check your local restaurant for adjusted hours and availability.

CRU Food & Wine Bar offers a three-course Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 9 pm. To-go menu available. Call for reservations or to pre-order.

Distilled at The Sire serves a three-course Thanksgiving-inspired menu with seatings at 11 am and 1 pm. Call for reservations.

Hall’s on the River offers heated patio dining from 11 am to 5:30 pm. Reservations required, walk-ins available.

Infinity: Skybar & Cafe at Marriott City Center and Residence Inn is open on Thanksgiving from 11 am to 10 pm with a regular menu.

Le Deauville is open from noon to 6 pm, offering the regular dinner menu and a Thanksgiving special with turkey and more.

Dine in at Lockbox for Thanksgiving. Three available seating times: 12-12:30pm, 2:30-3pm and 4:30-5pm. Up to 10 people per party. Now accepting reservations through OpenTable or email.

The Rackhouse Tavern at The Campbell House is open from noon until 6 pm on Thanksgiving. No reservations required.

Join Shaker Village this year for a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal on Thursday, November 26 with your choice of dining location in one of two inspiring historic buildings. Available times include 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm. Seats limited.

Lexington residents can recycle used cooking oil for free at the annual Gobble Grease Toss on Friday, November 27 from 10 am until 2 pm at Redwood School, 166 Crestwood Drive. Please bring your grease in a closed container that you can leave. This service is for Fayette County residents only.
