Lexington’s Town Branch Park Presents Design

Town Branch Park recently unveiled the final design plans for the community’s new park in downtown Lexington.

The finalized design, which incorporated input from more than 16,000 people through forums, surveys, and meetings, is the next key milestone in the creation of the 10-acre green space adjacent to the new Central Bank Center.

Attendees at the announcement viewed plans for a large permanent stage and amphitheater, unique children’s play areas, water features, a dog park, food and beverage offerings, art installations, and the emergence of Town Branch Creek flowing through the space.

In addition, a fly-through video and a scaled model brought the park to life.

Town Branch Park also held nine smaller, pop-up displays throughout the community – from the Lexington Senior Center to Greyline Station to several library branches to Thursday Night Live and the Farmers’ Market.
