The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk will take place this Saturday, October 17 at 5 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark (Lexington Legends Stadium).

“The Light The Night Walk is part of a national effort to pay tribute and give hope to people battling blood cancers. Participants carry illuminated lanterns — white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of loved ones who have died from blood cancer. About 2,500 people are expected to attend. The event will feature music, food, survivor and memorial tributes, and children’s activities.”
