Stitch it, Don’t Pitch It Sewing Workshop is happening at the Lexington Public Library, Eastside Branch on Saturday, March 28 at 2 pm.

This beginner-level workshop will allow students to create waste-reducing items such as a cloth shopping bag, drawstring produce bag, and reusable utensil holder from recycled materials. Students will have hands-on guidance using a sewing machine to learn basic stitches, and will go home with their handmade masterpieces that will help them eliminate the need for single-use plastics.

The class is free, but registration is required.
