The 2016 Tweed Ride starts at the Courthouse Plaza at 4 pm on Saturday, March 12.

“Sport your finest olde-timey attire and embark on a leisurely jaunt about the town on bi-cycles!

A Lexington tradition and favorite bike event among many fine, upstanding citizens, this year’s Tweed Ride will gather at the Ceourthouse Plaza starting at 4pm. Feel free to patronize the various establishments across the street if you feel so inclined. At promptly 5pm, shove off for a casual bike ride around town (usually an hour’s journey or so), with a possible stop thrown in for photo-taking, etc. The ride will end at  Broomwagon Coffee + Bikes.

Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories, including best dressed male and female, most stylish steed (bike), etc.
