Each summer, The Lyric Summer Film Series features films that help define African American cinema through history. These films not only provide the nostalgia of the classic movie going experience of the original Lyric for an older generation, but help share this experience with a younger generation while showing them the monumental, hilarious and heartbreaking films that history has graced us with.
